KASETZ, newly established at Azbil’s Shonan factory,, is a dedicated platform for employees to shape the factory’s unique identity. Inspired by the company president’s desire to create a “audacious factory,” the project brought together eight factory members to explore a more creative vision of manufacturing—one that goes beyond efficiency.

Nikome is an eco-material that mirrors the artistry of sake brewing. By altering the ratio of rice grains to hulls, it creates diverse textures akin to different rice-polishing rates. > This project unlocks new potential for non-edible crops. Sourced entirely within Niigata City, Nikome brings transparency to manufacturing—ensuring you know the exact farmers behind the raw ingredients. QUON is a modern reinterpretation of geta (traditional Japanese wooden sandals), crafted from recycled textile waste. Unlike conventional wooden geta, QUON is quieter when walking and features vibrant textures that expand its role in fashion. Its replaceable sole design enhances durability while promoting higher textile recycling rates through continued use.
