- sound biotope
"Sound Biotope" is an experimental initiative—led by a team centered on Konel and Yamaha—designed to boost creativity through "sounds" generated by natural phenomena. As the project's first installation, it has been set up in the "magma lounge" within magmabooks—a new type of bookstore at Toranomon Hills that focuses on intellectual stimulation and creativity.
- AI Masaya Nakahara: Writing Novels with the Voice Presented by Naohiro Ukawa & DOMMUNE
Konel joined AI Masaya Nakahara: “Writing Novels with the Vocal Cords!”, a project led by "present" artist and DOMMUNE founder Naohiro Ukawa and DOMMUNE, as a development partner. The project creates an AI-powered digital twin of writer Masaya Nakahara, exploring how technology can extend human embodiment and unlock new possibilities for creative expression. Supported by the Arts Council Tokyo’s Life with Art Grant 2025 and selected as an official program of DIG SHIBUYA 2026.
- Nikome Material
Nikome is an eco-material that mirrors the artistry of sake brewing. By altering the ratio of rice grains to hulls, it creates diverse textures akin to different rice-polishing rates. > This project unlocks new potential for non-edible crops. Sourced entirely within Niigata City, Nikome brings transparency to manufacturing—ensuring you know the exact farmers behind the raw ingredients. Konel spearheaded the venture, driving brand development, prototyping, and product design. (Subsidized by the Niigata City 2025 "Niigata 2km Charm Creation & 8-Ward Collaboration Support" Project)
- TAKE and GIVE NEEDS
Take and Give Needs is expanding its hospitality business by revamping its corporate visual identity. Since 1998, the company has been a leader in Japan’s wedding industry, introducing the house wedding market, a venue style that creates a private, home-like atmosphere for ceremonies. In response to the impact of COVID-19, it refined its corporate philosophy and refreshed its brand identity to align with its future direction.
- AI Jūzaburō Tsutaya
Konel developed a text-based conversational AI that reproduces the persona, words, and philosophy of Tsutaya Jūzaburō by using deep learning to train on the works and characters he created.
- magmabooks
Maruzen-Junkudo Bookstore has opened "magmabooks," a store featuring a new business model, within the Toranomon Hills Glass Rock building. Konel explored what a next-generation bookstore could be and handled the overall concept design, experience design, store naming, copywriting, and logo development.
- ZZZN SLEEP APPAREL SYSTEM
As digital connectivity exposes us to an overwhelming stream of information, sleep remains the only time we can truly disconnect from the world. By combining cutting-edge technology with traditional wisdom, we introduce an innovative sleep system—seamlessly integrating rest into the closest thing to the body: clothing.

Music: Collaborations with musicians and artists. Experience: Creating experiences related to sleep music. Laboratory: Exploring the scientific connection between sleep and music. Combining these three aspects to create a new cultural platform focused on sleep and music.
- toreluna
toreluna is a service dedicated to creating a society where anyone in need can access sanitary pads at any time. By delivering information to users of women's restrooms and linking with dispensers installed in restroom stalls, the service enables users to obtain sanitary pads for free. Konel handled the end-to-end creative production, including the core product design, brand messaging, website development, and instructional videos.
- N-ARK
In preparation for 2030 and beyond, N-ARK is developing plans for Dogen City, a floating city designed to adapt to climate change. We created N-ARK’s website and vision movie to communicate this initiative. N-ARK envisions the ocean as a new economic zone, building a resilient marine economy that addresses climate challenges.
- Morph inn
Welcome to a space where you can drop by without any specific reason—a casual, purpose-free room. Soft robots known as Morph welcome visitors into this space, offering an experience of surrender and presence. Come as you are and immerse yourself in the experience.
- Bipass
Global chemical company Daicel and creative media outlet Chizai Zukan have jointly developed and operated Bipass, a web media platform dedicated to exploring new resource pathways. Focusing on biomass, Daicel’s core technology, Bipass goes beyond the company’s initiatives to feature efforts from various organizations and industries. By encouraging discussions and raising awareness, it aims to expand the social recognition of biomass and build a network of contributors working toward a sustainable future.
